Directed by Vernon Zimmerman in 1972 from an early screenplay by that hermit auteur, Terrence Malick, DEADHEAD MILES is a crazy story of a long-distance trucker and the adventures he experiences out on the road. This is a fantastic film for fans of '70s cinema. The great cast includes Paul Benedict (Mr. Bentley on THE JEFFERSONS), Alan Arkin, Hector Elizondo, Loretta Swit (Hot Lips on TV's M*A*S*H*), and director John Milius. Taken from a TV broadcast, there is an occasional on-screen station ID in this print. Quality is great overall though!
