Don't you just love made-for-TV-teenage-alcoholic movies? Here are the two best in the entire history of the genre for one low price. Up first is the most famous of them all, 1975's SARAH T. - PORTRAIT OF A TEENAGE ALCOHOLIC. An early effort from Hollywood bigshot director Richard Donner (SUPERMAN, LETHAL WEAPON 1-4), Linda Blair stars as the namesake heroine, a poor little middle-class girl who turns to the bottle to help cope with her parents' divorce and the pains of teenhood. Featuring a pre-STAR WARS Mark Hamill as Sarah's boyfriend, and a pre-DALLAS Larry Hagman as her dad, SARAH T. is the archetype upon which all teenage alcoholic movies are built.
Also included in this "double shot" is Scott Baio starring as THE BOY WHO DRANK TOO MUCH. This classic 1980 flick features Chachi as a high school hockey star (what high school had a hockey team?!?) who is loved and respected by everyone at his school. But what they don't know is he's hiding a deep dark secret--his obsession with booze! Oh the shame! Pick up these two and drink up for only $12.
