Candice Bergen and Peter Strauss star in this classic Western drama from 1970 that still has the power to shock. After a US Calvary group is massacred by the Cheyenne, two survivors remain: Honus (Strauss), a dedicated private, and Cresta (Bergen), a caucasian who has spent the last two years living with the Cheyenne. As they make their way through the wilderness, Honus is torn between his growing attraction to Cresta and his resentment of her anti-American views. It all leads up to some of the most disturbing closing 15 minutes you'll ever see in a flick. With gorgeous Panavision cinematography, presented here in 2.35:1 widescreen and fully uncut, this is a fantastic copy of this rare drama.
