ALABAMA'S GHOST is the fourth film from the legendary underground B-movie director Frederic Hobbs (TROIKA, ROSELAND, GODMONSTER OF INDIAN FLATS). A nightclub janitor finds a dead magician's belongings--including some old leftover ganja from the 1930s--and turns into Alabama, King of the Cosmos! Then he encounters a series of jazz bands, transvestite vampires, voodoo ceremonies, a herd of elephants and much, much more. Although GODMONSTER is perhaps Hobbs' best known work, those in the know about this bad movie auteur will tell you that ALABAMA'S GHOST is his craziest (and best) work.
