With only two actors--Alan Rickman as The Interrogator and Madeleine Stowe as The Victim--CLOSETLAND is an up-close and intense study of human rights violations. There are also a few trippy animated sequences that give this claustrophobic drama a feel similar to PINK FLOYD: THE WALL. Nobody who has ever seen this has forgotten it, but it has sadly been unavailable in the US for over a decade now. Here is a good looking laserdisc transfer with great audio and video!
