The "road movie" was all the rage in Hollywood following EASY RIDER, utilizing the formula of loners out on the road to find America. While this trend resulted in its fair share of classics--FIVE EASY PIECES, TWO LANE BLACKTOP, VANISHING POINT among them--it was also responsible for stuff like NORWOOD. Glen Campbell and Joe Namath (yep, that Glen Campbell and Joe Namath) are two Vietnam war vets who've recently come back home to head out on the highway, looking for adventure and whatever comes their way. This might have worked beautifully if Campbell and Namath were any good at playing characters other than themselves. As it stands, NORWOOD is an amusing attempt at entertainment and social relevance. Print quality is a little jumpy, but it's the best out there. Due to the demands of a legion of Glen Campbell fans, we've decided to offer it for sale anyway, with a couple of bucks knocked off our normal price.
