One of the absolute best dramas to ever come out of the TV movie-of-the-week factory in the 1970s, Dick Van Dyke stars in this powerful and disturbing drama as an executive whose life spirals out of control as he loses the battle with the bottle. Van Dyke, who was secretly fighting alcoholism himself at the time, puts in an eerily effective performance, for which he earned an Emmy nomination. How he lost the award is beyond us--this is some of the finest acting you will see, on the small screen or big screen. Highly recommended.
