They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. It's hard to believe a film of such high quality would be relegated to being shown on TV (and not theatrically), but that's the way it often happened in the 1970s. Anchoring an all-star cast is veteran Hal Holbrook in a top-notch performance as a professional psychic. The under-appreciated Katharine Ross plays his unfaithful wife, and Barry Bostwick is her lover. There are so many twists and turns in this thriller that just when you are sure you have it figured out, there's another surprise just around the corner.
Sadly neglected over the years, this taut little thriller is now available for your viewing pleasure. A highly recommended artifact from from an era of high-quality TV movies.
